NET is an acronym for Notify Every Truck. The aim is to alert drivers when lengthy delays may interrupt their trip. To accomplish this we are enhancing communications to advise commercial vehicle operators of route specific traffic information pertaining to complete closures in excess of two hours on Interstate Highways in the Metro Louisville Area as well as KYTC Districts 3, 4 and 5.  This area includes all of I-65 in Kentucky. In addition, incidents closing the parkways in each of these districts are also included in the NET coverage area.  The TRIMARC Regional Traffic Operations Center will utilize its information technology and communication tools to provide current information on road closures brought about by unexpected events or planned community activities.
